Le Creuset Review and Giveaway!

I received my Le Creuset 9x9 Baking Dish set from Cookware.com (a CSN Store) on Saturday. Last week was the first week of school for the big kids and we are in the process of upgrading our cell phone, home phone and internet service so yesterday was the first day I got to use my new dish! Here it is drying after making baked Alaskan cod to go with our stir fry dinner.

Okay folks…. it is AWESOME! I love love love this dish! My stove is older and it usually takes longer to cook things than the directions called for but this little dish baked the FROZEN cod in 9 minutes! (the directions said to cook THAWED for 4 min each side) It was cooked to perfection I may add. I just put some butter in the bottom of the dish, laid two cod fillets on top and sprinkled some seasoning on top. Nothing fancy. Put in the oven at 450 and all it took was 4.5 minutes on each side. It was SO delicious! Now, I can’t eat shellfish, but my family says it tasted like it could have been lobster! No kidding!

I just checked and you can still get this deal at Cookware.com9' Square Baking Dish with Bonus 5' Baking Dish in Caribbean

BOTH 9” and 5” baking dishes for only 24.95 (was 59.00!)

Cornbread is always good with a lot of different things! Either by Scratch or packaged Marie Callendars is great!
